Kimberly Ann grew up in the Portland, Oregon where she first learned to stitch as a young girl from her mother. Throughout her youth, Kimberly Ann was involved in a variety of art forms but became especially interested in drawing and sewing. In college, she studied painting at Parsons School of Design in New York City and earned degrees from Portland State University (Art History) and Scottsdale Community College (Interior Design).
Today, Kimberly Ann has recently developed her own line and resides in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband and two children. Armed with years of formal training, her hand painted works exhibit her commitment to detail. Kimberly Ann combines classic design principles with her love of needlepointing that allows customers to create their own work of art. Her design philosophy is simple, "Only design something that I myself would love to stitch." With this passion and enthusiasm, she is pleased to introduce Kimberly Ann Needlepoint.
